As a matter of fact, if I interpret correctly

Nitrogen is readily available in Fedora 16 (for those who aren't
comfortable with Mendeleev's table, Nitrogen has atomic number 7),
thus it is possible to compile it on this version, and the
dependencies have already been sorted out by Fedora's developers.
